Computer Club

Following the Government announcement on the 16th March, we regret that Bethesda Methodist Church will suspend Sunday worship until it becomes apparent the threat from the Covid19 virus has subsided significantly enough to reconvene.  All church fellowship groups and events will also cease.  We have not taken this decision lightly, but we must avoid spreading the Coronavirus unnecessarily – especially among vulnerable groups.

The members of Bethesda Methodist Church pray that you will stay safe and well.  If you live alone and are experiencing difficulty due to self-isolation please contact Deacon Corinne Brown:  0117 9551934 or Email:

A prayer for us all to use at this difficult time:

Merciful God, in this time of challenge we pray your blessing and healing upon all, particularly those who are most vulnerable in society and those unable to reach their families.  Even as we keep social distance may we find ways to reduce isolation and continue to remember Christ’s command to love all our neighbours.  In his name we pray. Amen

At the Computer Club what you do is up to you.  We can help you to be confident using the internet and email, set you up with a facebook or twitter account to keep in touch with friends and family.  We can help with setting up your own personal website or just give help and advice on any problems that you are having using your computer.

Feel free to pop along on Thursdays to speak to one of our volunteers who are sure to know how to help you to get the most out of your computer.  We are no longer running courses so there is no commitment, it is up to you how often you come in and for how long.

£1 per session.
